about the luncheon
Be a part of empowering the world’s most fragile and underserved communities.
Join Seed Effect Uganda’s Country Director, James Lomude, for lunch at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
Together, we’ll learn about Seed Effect’s holistic approach to poverty alleviation and hear the sustainable impact being made in northern Uganda.
To date, Seed Effect has empowered over 15,000 people through their Christ-centered, savings led microfinance program. And, with over one million refugees in Uganda we have the opportunity to empower thousands more!
James Lomude serves as Country Director for Seed Effect in Uganda.
Having grown up in extreme poverty and living in both Uganda and South Sudan, James knows intimately what it is like to be in the shoes of the people we serve.
In his current position, James leads Seed Effect’s local staff (a team of 40 full-time employees) and oversees Seed Effect’s Savings & Loan Program (that serves 15,000+ South Sudanese refugees and Ugandan nationals).
James is married to Stella, with whom he has four daughters. The family left South Sudan in 2017 and settled in Adjumani, Uganda, the Seed Effect Uganda Headquarters.
We’re incredibly grateful for like-minded partners who believe the hard places are worth investing in. Interested in bringing hope + opportunity?
