In 2020, we added The Chalmers Center’s “Plan For A Better Business + Livelihood Training” that walks participants through a Biblically based model to start or improve their business.

Over the course of 7 weeks, groups explore topics such as examining business ideas, planning production and costs, and preparing for unexpected events. The final lesson wraps up with livelihood training in soap-making or agriculture and serves as both a practical case study and to provide additional business skills.

Milestones from our first business training include:

• 148 Seed Effect groups trained
• 160 individual businesses started
• 19 group businesses started
