July Prayer Requests

We continue to have so much to be thankful for this month. Would you join us in thanking God for how He’s moving?

Praises

• Lamwo Branch. We continue to train and prepare for the opening of the branch in Lamwo, which will be Seed Effect’s sixth branch in northern Uganda. Groups are scheduled to start this month!
• 3-Year Approach Promotes Resiliency and Sustainability. We’ve changed our approach to working with members and instead of moving them to independence after the first year, we work with them for three years and have seen 90% of members finish the program and continue to save. Seed Effect Uganda Prayer

• Operation of New Branch in Lamwo. Pray as groups are being formed this month for the newest SE branch. Ask the Lord to place the right people in each group and for staff as they begin working with members.
• New Car for SE Uganda. Please pray for God’s provision in acquiring a new vehicle to maintain adequate supervision and monitoring of operations as we continue to grow into new locations this year.
• Salvation for Family Members. This month, SE Uganda has asked for prayer for spouses who don’t know the Lord. Pray that Christian members and staff who are married to unbelievers will conduct themselves in a way that draws their spouses to Christ.
• Healing for Members and their Families. Pray for God to comfort those who have lost loved ones. Pray also for healing for those with liver cancer, broken limbs, and alcoholism.
• Financial Provision. Many staff members continue to struggle financially due to inflation and rising food costs. Pray for God’s provision, that they’ll be able to provide for their families and loved ones.
• Spiritual Rhythms. Pray staff make time to rest, spend time with the Lord, and seek Him in every area of their lives.

Seed Effect USA Prayer

• Engaging New Supporters! Would you continue to pray for Seed Effect as we expand our community of supporters within the DFW area and beyond? We have two ways that current advocates can get involved:

  • Seed Effect Gather
• Discernment as we grow. We continue to grow and are so thankful! Join us in praying for our lean (but growing!) team, that we would steward this growth and expansion in a way that is worthy of the gospel.
• Travel Mercies. With growth comes opportunities to expand our network and share the story of Seed Effect with new and existing donors in cities outside of where our staff live. Pray for the Lord’s protection as we travel.
• Spiritual Rhythms. Pray we remain committed to honoring the sabbath, seeking solitude to hear from the Lord, and praying for this ministry. Ask the Lord to help us keep Him at the center of everything we do.
