November Prayer Requests

Praise God! We have so much to be thankful for this month. Would you join us in thanking God for how He’s moving?

Praise! 

• 4africa Pilot Partnership. Seed Effect has recently begun a pilot partnership program with 4africa in Uganda. 4africa partners with communities in East Africa facing extreme poverty, famine, and civil unrest by imparting biblical principles through sustainable clean water and preventative health initiatives. Together, Seed Effect and 4africa are bringing Christ-centered economic empowerment to areas that Seed Effect would not otherwise reach. Read more about this exciting partnership here.

Seed Effect Uganda 

• Ebola Outbreak. A recent outbreak of ebola in rural communities is concerning for some of our staff. Pray for the outbreak to stop and for people’s lives to be spared. Pray also for wisdom for the Uganda government as they emplement safety measures and please also pray for God’s protection over his church. Read more here and consider praying through Psalm 91 as you pray for our staff and members. 
• Financial Provision. Continue to pray members will have the courage and tenacity to save in the midst of financial hardship, sickness, and a recession. Pray for God’s provision, that they’ll be able to provide for their families and loved ones and be encouraged. 
• Discipleship of New Converts. Group members hear the Gospel through the Seed Effect curriculum. Pray for those who have met Christ for the first time, and that they will be discipled well and grow in their faith.
• Wisdom for SE Ugandan Leadership. Pray that the upcoming board meeting will be fruitful and that God will lead the discussion and decisions that are made. Ask God to give those in the head office wisdom as they hire and train new staff, resolve conflict, and allocate resources. Pray Colossians 1:9, “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”

Seed Effect USA

• Growing our Support Base. Would you continue to pray for Seed Effect as we expand our community of supporters within the DFW area and beyond? We have two ways that current advocates can get involved: Seed Effect Socials and Seed Effect Gather.
• Wisdom as We Grow. We continue to grow and are so thankful! Pray we will steward this growth and expansion in a way that is worthy of the gospel.
• Protection as We Travel. With growth comes opportunities to expand our network and share the story of Seed Effect with new and existing donors in cities outside of where our staff live. Pray for the Lord’s protection as we travel.
• Keeping Christ as Our Focus. Pray we remain committed to honoring the sabbath, seeking solitude to hear from the Lord, and praying for this ministry. Ask the Lord to help us keep Him at the center of everything we do.
