December Prayer Requests

As December draws to a close and we reflect on this year, we celebrate all God has done! Thank you for partnering with us in prayer.

Praises in 2022! 

• Our locally led staff has worked tirelessly to empower over 11,000 new members while continuing to serve existing members in our three-cycle program.
• They’ve also piloted new partnerships and launched two new branches, with the third scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2023!
• Because of YOUR support, Seed Effect staff have now empowered over 62,000 members since 2017!
• The Ugandan government remains vigilant, and the African CDC has reported a decrease in Ebola cases and deaths after last month’s scare. Thank you for praying for our staff, members and the people of Uganda. Please continue to pray.

Seed Effect Uganda 

• Financial Provision. Continue to pray members will have the courage and tenacity to save in the midst of financial hardship, sickness, and a recession. Pray for God’s provision, that they’ll be able to provide for their families and loved ones.
• Strategic Planning. Leadership will be working on a strategic plan for the next five years and also planning for 2023. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide them and give them wisdom as they set goals and look forward to the future.
• Holiday Protection. Pray the Lord will protect the offices and vehicles at all of our branches during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
• Discipleship of New Converts. Group members hear the Gospel through the Seed Effect curriculum. Pray for those who have met Christ for the first time, and that they will be discipled well and grow in their faith.
• Comfort for Those Who Mourn. Several group members have lost loved ones (some are mourning the loss of a father, others the loss of a member, and still others the loss of a baby). Pray the Lord will be near to them as they mourn and provide them with comfort.

Seed Effect USA

• Growing our Partners. Would you continue to pray for Seed Effect as we expand our community of supporters within the DFW area and beyond? We have two low impact ways that current supporters can share Seed Effect’s work with new people: Seed Effect Socials and Seed Effect Gather.
• Health of our team and families. This year is drawing to a close, and we want to be able to slow down and remember Christ’s coming. Would you pray we’d stay healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually and be fully present?
• Wisdom as We Grow. We continue to grow and are so thankful! Pray we will steward this growth and expansion in a way that is worthy of the Gospel.
• Keeping Christ as Our Focus. Pray we remain committed to honoring the sabbath, seeking solitude to hear from the Lord, and praying for this ministry. Ask the Lord to help us keep Him at the center of everything we do.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
