David Luttrell

David serves as the Chief Executive Officer at LCM Group, a Dallas-based family office and investment firm. David provides leadership for LCM Group’s portfolio team, process, and all investment activities. Previously, David was a Managing Director predominantly focused on the firm’s direct private equity and venture capital investing efforts.

Prior to LCM, David previously served as Senior Economic Analyst and Special Assistant to President Richard Fisher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and worked in the Private Equity/Venture Capital Group at Makena Capital (Menlo Park, CA) and the Financial Institutions Group at Temasek Holdings (Singapore).

David received magna cum laude honors with a B.S. in Economics and B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in Alternative Assets from Southern Methodist University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

David is passionate about biblical stewardship and finding ways to invest in human flourishing. He is trustee or director of several portfolio companies and grant-making organizations such as New Leaf Publishing Group, Generous Giving, private foundation The Light Foundation, and is co-founder of Ambassadors Club. David and his wife, Keelie, have been involved in Seed Effect since 2010 and enjoy active involvement in what God is doing in and through their local faith family of Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX.
