Jim Wilson, Treasurer

Jim has been a Partner and the CFO of NMS Capital since its founding in 2010. NMS is a private equity firm specializing in strategic equity investments in leading middle market companies with an emphasis on sustainable growth trends in both the business services and healthcare services industries. Prior to NMS, Jim spent 12 years in a similar capacity with Haas Wheat & Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm. Prior to Haas Wheat, Jim served as a manager in the finance department of Coca-Cola Enterprises, and also worked in public accounting at KPMG. Jim graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. in 1989.

Jim has been an active member of Northwest Bible Church since 1991 and has served on the church’s Missions Committee for many years. In addition to Seed Effect, Jim also serves as amember of the Advisory Board for Casa Del Lago, a ministry serving the immigrant community of Northwest Dallas. and as chair of Our Calling’s capital campaign in support of a tiny home community it is developing south of Dallas to provide long-term, comprehensive, and relational care for those experiencing chronic homelessness. Jim has previously served as chairman of the board for The Covenant School of Dallas, and as a director for Harvesters Reaching the Nations, an organization providing orphan care, education, and healthcare in South Sudan.

Jim has been married to Michelle for 30 years and they have three children.
