Grants Administrator

We are seeking a Grants Administrator to manage our Salesforce data and reporting capabilities along with our Grant application and reporting process. You will work directly with the Leadership Team to manage our program data to ensure accuracy, pull data to report on program activities and growth, and manage the grants process to ensure the timely submission of applications and reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You will utilize and improve (as needed) the capabilities we are currently using in Salesforce (NPSP package),
    • You will gain a deep understanding of our program’s structure and be able to accurately translate that into the data represented in Salesforce, ensuring alignment between program operations and Salesforce records and reporting.
    • You will report on predetermined program metrics and offer insights with new data trends,
    • You will provide data for program growth enhancement and fundraising, 
    • Ensure the quality of data entry from our Data Officers in Uganda and South Sudan within Salesforce, including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness,
    • Collaborate with the Director of Programs and in-country leaders to build reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance program operations,
    • Pull data and provide insights that are used by the Executive Director and fundraising team to report to donors and foundations,
    • Report routine updates and ad hoc requests to the Leadership Team on program outputs and outcomes, 
    • Build and document processes for the use of Salesforce at different levels of the organization – data entry, branch coordinators, Director of Programs, Executive Director, etc.,
    • You will manage the grants process in coordination with the Executive Director to:
      • Ensure deadlines are documented and met using monday.com
      • Grants applications and reports are accurate, complete, and timely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the mission and vision of Seed Effect,
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our team,
  • The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM management,
      • In this role, you will demonstrate a high level of comfort with Salesforce and technical literacy while being supported by a consultant for more complex back-end administrative tasks and automation building.
    • Excellent communication skills,
  • High attention to detail and followthrough,
  • Interruptible and flexible as priorities may shift with new deadlines from outside parties,
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus,
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and execute a plan,
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, 
  • Exercise sound judgment and confidentiality,
  • Travel to Uganda annually.
