About Jeremy

My career has always been rooted in the nonprofit world, spanning the U.S. and Uganda in various roles with various organizations. As close friends of Seed Effect’s founders, Missy and David Williams, I had the privilege of being involved in the organization from the very beginning. In 2021, I officially joined the team and now serve in a role I love as Director of Programs—acting as the bridge between continents, helping keep our mission strong and our impact growing.

After more than a decade of living and working in Uganda, it’s become a place I proudly call home. With its vibrant energy, warm-hearted people, perfect climate, and countless opportunities to make a meaningful impact, Uganda is an exceptional place to live. When I’m not traveling across East Africa, I’m recharging in my other happy place—Denver, Colorado—spending summers with family, reconnecting with friends, and getting my fill of mountain adventures.

My wife, Jamie, teaches at the International School of Uganda (ISU), where our two sons graduated before heading off to universities in the U.S. We’ve been incredibly grateful to raise our family in such a diverse and global community.
