That conviction guided Seed Effect Uganda’s recent three-day Spiritual Integration Retreat, with the theme “Making God’s Grace Count in All We Do” (1 Corinthians 15:10), an intentional investment in staff spiritual formation, ethical leadership, and team relationships. The retreat was not simply a time of encouragement; it was a strategic step toward strengthening the integrity, faithfulness, and compassion that undergird our programs and member service.

When our team is renewed, grounded, and growing spiritually, they are better equipped to lead savings groups with humility, guard resources with integrity, and accompany members with empathy, especially in complex, multi-faith, and multicultural contexts.

Post-retreat feedback revealed encouraging early outcomes: 

• 100% of respondents said the retreat meaningfully addressed spiritual, personal, and work realities
• The most valuable sessions included:

• Leadership and Stewardship by Grace
• 90% of staff anticipate strengthened team relationships, deeper spiritual discipline, and a healthier workplace culture
