Salesforce & Grants Administrator

We are seeking a Salesforce & Grants Administrator to manage our Salesforce data and reporting capabilities along with our grant application and reporting process. You will work directly with the Leadership Team to manage our program data to ensure accuracy, pull data to report on program activities and growth, and manage the grants process to ensure the timely submission of applications and reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce

  • You will utilize and improve (as needed) the capabilities we are currently using:

      • custom objects and fields

      • formula fields

      • validation rules, required fields, and conditional visibility

      • reports and dashboards

  • You will report on predetermined program metrics and offer insights with new data trends.

  • You will provide data for program growth and enhancement and fundraising. 

  • Ensure the quality of data within Salesforce including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness

  • Collaborate with the Director of Programs and in-country leaders to build reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance program operations

  • Train Salesforce users to improve data entry, report/dashboard usage, and general Salesforce skill set

  • Provide data analysis that will lead to program improvements in the field

  • Pull data and provide insights that are used by the Executive Director and fundraising team to report to donors and foundations

  • Report routine updates and ad hoc requests to the Leadership Team on program outputs and outcomes 

  • Stay current on Salesforce environment updates and enhancements, evaluating them for use within Seed Effect’s system

  • Build and document processes for use of Salesforce at different levels of the organization – data entry, branch coordinators, Director of Programs, Executive Director, etc.

  • Ideate new and insightful ways of looking at the data to discover opportunities for greater impact in the field and for impact that would tell a compelling story to donors

Grants 

  • You will manage the grants process in coordination with the Executive Director to:

    • Ensure deadlines are documented and met using monday.com

    • Grants applications and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the mission and vision of Seed Effect;

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our team;

  • The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

    • Business analysis,

    • Certified Salesforce Administrator (Admin 201),

    • Experience with Salesforce apps, community sites, and flows,

    • Data analysis and dashboard creation,

    • Excellent communication skills;

    • High attention to detail and followthrough;

  • Interruptible and flexible as priorities may shift with new deadlines from outside parties;

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus;

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and execute a plan;

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision; 

  • Exercise sound judgment and confidentiality;

  • Ability to travel to Uganda annually (travel expenses paid by SE).
