Thank you so much for your continued prayers and faithful support. Here is how you can lift up Seed Effect this month.

Praise!

• We praise God for His faithfulness, protection, and provision over our teams in Uganda and South Sudan, for answered prayers, and for the continued opportunity to serve Members in the hard places!
• We give thanks for Bismarck Yengi, who has led Seed Effect South Sudan with courage and faith, as he prepares to return to school to pursue an advanced law degree!

Seed Effect Uganda and South Sudan

• Pray for the search for a new Seed Effect South Sudan Country Director, that God will lead us to the right person with the heart, character, leadership, and calling to carry the work forward.
• Pray for Poni, our accountant in South Sudan, who is unwell, asking God for healing, strength, and a quick recovery.
• Pray for South Sudan as the country moves through an important process toward elections, that leaders will act with wisdom, integrity, and unity, and make decisions that serve the people well.
• Pray for lasting peace to prevail throughout South Sudan, and for God to bring stability, reconciliation, and hope to every community we serve.
• Pray for our planned expansion to Nimule, South Sudan, as we seek God’s direction and trust Him for the provision and resources needed to begin this work.
• Pray for the Church Partners Conference in Uganda on September 14 through 18, that God will bring unity and fruitful discussions, strengthen partnerships, and lead to meaningful collaboration in advancing His work through our program.
• Pray for the Adjumani by-election in Uganda on September 17, for a peaceful, fair, and orderly process; wisdom for leaders; security for communities; and respect among all candidates and supporters.
• Pray for our staff and the work they do, asking God for strength, wisdom, commitment, and unity, and for grace to serve with excellence and integrity through every challenge.
• Pray that every staff member will grow deeper in their relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship, and reflect Christ in both work and personal life.
• Pray for good health, protection, and healing for all staff and their families, and for God to sustain those facing illness and provide access to the care they need.
• Pray for refugees around the world facing displacement, insecurity, and uncertainty, asking God to provide protection, hope, peace, and daily needs, and to end conflict among nations.

Seed Effect USA

• Pray for Reinvest, Seed Effect’s annual giving day, on September 17, asking God for radical generosity and new partners who will stand with our Members in the hard places.
• Pray for Preston Eastwood, our Program Analyst, as he travels to Uganda from September 18 through 27 to work with our MEAL team and launch the latest phase of our data digitization project, asking God for safe travels, good health, and a fruitful time with our teams. Pray that our teams will implement new tools with wisdom and confidence, and that these efforts will strengthen Seed Effect’s work and deepen our impact for Members.
• We are still searching for an Advancement Coordinator. Please join us in praying for the right person to join our team.

Thank you for joining us as we seek the Lord in prayer!
