I came here because of the war. What forced me to leave South Sudan is that the soldiers would come at night and would arrest people. I even had family arrested and tortured.
When you are alone, you think about many of these things, but when you are with others, all of those thoughts disappear. Being in the group has really helped me a lot because in the group I get great advice and I feel happy interacting with the other members.
In South Sudan (before the war), we had a lot of things to help us, but here there are problems. But when I joined a group, those problems are gone. If you can’t afford something, like when you are sick, the group can support you through the social fund. I am a business woman. I earn money selling groundnuts (peanuts).
