Our 4th Seed Effect branch is now open!

Seed Effect Uganda is now serving the Arua / Imvepi areas

Thank you from Seed Effect Uganda!

With great excitement, we get to announce that our Arua/Imvepi Office is officially open! In the coming weeks, new savings groups will be formed and the members will be given access to financial tools and training, spiritual discipleship, and Christ-centered communities. We are reaching new members and getting to share holistic poverty alleviation tools, and it’s sustainable. We could not have GROWN without you, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you for believing in the mission of Seed Effect, in the inherent worth and dignity of all of God’s children, and that refugees and the materially poor are capable.

Meet the leaders of the new branch!

Why Imvepi?

  • It is an area that is not well reached.
No organizations in the area similar to Seed Effect that provide formal, trained savings groups.
  • There is a vast number of South Sudanese refugees residing here – nearly 130,000.
  • Rurally located.
Refugees have extremely limited access to resources and services of any kind.
Imvepi is over 43 miles (70km) from the nearest town of Arua.
  • Great need.
The local communities are also extremely poor.
